Elton John at Mississippi Coast Coliseum
Blade Rave - A Vampire Themed Rave is an incredibly engaging and phenomenal performer, unlike any I have ever seen. His magic was non-stop during the 2 1/2-hour concert. His backup singers and band were also extremely talented and entertaining. I will absolutely see him again if he has another show in the Greater New Orleans area. The show was amazing.
However, the venue was horribly inadequate. We ate dinner 6.2 miles from the coliseum. Because of the extremely unorganized and insufficient parking, the traffic was completely bottle-necked. We left for the show at 7:15, and the show started at 8:00. Arriving at the venue at 9:00, along with probably thousands of other fans, we missed an entire hour of the show. I will definitely pay to see this fabulous performer again, but not at the Mississippi Coast Coliseum, unless and until they make drastic improvements to their parking situation.
